Introducing Our Mission and My Life in Boston and New York

After moving to the United States, I found myself surrounded by a market flooded with mass-produced products. Most of what I could find was expensive, difficult to use, and featured the same old designs. In contrast, in Japan and Europe, there are many high-quality, affordable, and easy-to-use products—even among mass-produced industrial goods. The craftsmanship and manufacturing spirit of Japan and Europe is present in everything we use in our daily lives.

My company’s mission is to bring high-quality, affordable, and stylish products born from this fine craftsmanship to your daily life. At Select Shop, we believe that everyone deserves access to thoughtfully designed accessories, kitchenware, and household items that make everyday living more enjoyable.

I lived in New York City for a few years before moving to Boston, and in the coming month, I will be moving back to NYC again! My experiences in both cities have shaped my perspective and approach to curating products for Select Shop. Boston’s vibrant culture and sense of community have inspired me, while New York’s dynamic energy and diversity have always encouraged me to search for unique and meaningful items.

As I prepare to return to New York, I’m excited to combine the perspective of searching for things with the spirit of New York culture. I look forward to discovering new inspirations and sharing them with you through Select Shop.
